The print Gezicht op Dordrecht is a combination of the same painting from around 1655 by Aelbert Cuyp and contemporary photographs. Menno van der Weerd made these from the same position where Aelbert Cuyp made his sketches for the painting, on the dike at the rivercrossing in Papendrecht of the Noord, Beneden Merwede and the Oude Maas.
